Introduction

Welcome to the terms and conditions page for Print Philosophy, located at 6 Fern Road, Sandyford Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 FP98. By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

Application of Terms

​

These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Print Philosophy and supersede any other terms and conditions. By acknowledging your order, you accept that these terms and conditions are the only ones that govern our contract, regardless of any other terms you may propose.

​

Definition of Company

​

In these terms and conditions, "Company" refers to Print Philosophy, located at 6 Fern Road, Sandyford Business Park, Sandyford, Dublin, D18 FP98.

New Accounts - First 6 Months

​

For the first six months, full payment is required at the time of order placement for all new accounts. Credit terms may be offered after three successful pro forma payments and satisfactory credit checks.

​

Payment Terms – Pro Forma

​

Pro forma invoices are due for payment immediately upon order placement. Production of orders will commence only after full payment of the invoice. Any delay in payment may result in a delay in the overall lead time for your order. Print Philosophy cannot be held responsible for any failure to meet a delivery date due to late payment.

Payment Terms - Approved Accounts

​

For approved accounts, a 50% deposit is required at the time of order placement. The remaining balance must be paid in full within 30 days of receiving the invoice, unless special settlement terms have been agreed upon in writing.

Sample Requests

​

Before purchasing a product, you have the option to request a sample, which will be delivered within 3-5 business days. Samples are free provided the total order value does not exceed €5, or if you place a full order for the product within 14 days. For sample orders over €5, a charge will apply per item, plus shipping costs.

​

Please note that samples are not free for private consumers. Multiple sample requests are treated as a single large order and may be invoiced accordingly. We reserve the right to reject requests from customers who appear to be taking advantage of our free sample policy in bad faith.

Suppliers do not accept returned samples or provide refunds; therefore, samples are yours to keep after purchase.

Delivery

​

Delivery times are clearly indicated on quotes and order confirmations. Please review these documents carefully upon receipt via email. It is crucial to inform us of any deadlines at the initial point of contact, so we can confirm whether timely delivery is possible.

​

Notification of Discrepancies

​

The buyer must notify Print Philosophy within 3 days of receiving the goods regarding any excess or shortage in the delivered quantity and return any excess items. Additionally, the buyer must inform Print Philosophy within 3 days if any products are received in a damaged condition.

​

Notification of Defective Goods

​

If the buyer believes that goods were defective at the time of delivery, they must notify Print Philosophy in writing within 3 days of discovering the defect. The buyer must return the defective goods and their packaging within 7 days of this notification. If the claim is valid and complies with these terms and conditions, Print Philosophy will either repair or replace the defective goods free of charge, or at its discretion, provide a refund of the purchase price paid by the buyer.

Product Images and Descriptions

​

Product images and descriptions in our brochures, presentations, and on our website are provided as examples. Exact Pantone or CMYK colors cannot be guaranteed unless an exact color match is specified. The colors of premade products cannot be altered; only the branding can be Pantone matched.

If you require a Pantone-matched product, please inform us. We can source made-to-order goods, though this may result in longer lead times and higher costs.

Proof Approval

​

Please review your proofs carefully to ensure you are satisfied with the size and positioning of the logo and that the Pantone colors are correct. Once you approve the proof, the products will go into production immediately, and no changes to the product or the order can be made.

​

Outstanding Payments

​

No goods will be delivered for accounts that remain unpaid 14 days after the payment due date. Interest will be charged on overdue accounts at a rate of 5% above the base rate from the date the account became due until payment is received.

This policy does not preclude us from pursuing payment of overdue accounts at any time after the payment due date. It is in addition to and does not affect any other rights we may have against you. We reserve the right to charge for any legal or collection expenses incurred in obtaining payment of an overdue account through third-party or court proceedings.

Colour Variations

​

Given the diversity of materials and printing processes employed by Print Philosophy and its suppliers, we cannot guarantee an exact match to Pantone/CMYK colors provided by the client. While we strive to closely match these color references, we cannot accept liability for any additional costs that may arise.

If a Pantone/CMYK match has not been explicitly requested in writing with the relevant color code, we will print using the closest available stock print color.

Force Majeure

​

Print Philosophy cannot be held responsible for any failure to fulfill a delivery commitment due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, events such as: natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, labor strikes, congestions at ports of entry, customs delays, accuracy of information provided by the client, or failure of subcontractors to perform.

Suppliers and Warranties

​

All products and services offered for order through Print Philosophy are distributed on behalf of third-party suppliers, unless stated otherwise, and are sold with the supplier's limited warranty. Warranty periods and services vary by supplier and product. Specific details regarding warranties for each product are available upon written request to Print Philosophy.
